Barber shop: HAIRS
Our Group considered many different kinds of topics for the final Entrepreneurial Studies project. We talked about repair workshops for electronic devices, cloth or shoes companies, snow snowploughing or even a transport to move in campus. Many of them were very good but we definitely decided to make a Barber shop. We have a cloth company, maintenance and Mr. Porter are able to fix everything, maintenance also takes care of the snow, and not many students would pay money for a transport to move through campus. There is nothing in campus that can act as a barber shop. We have many students who do not want to go out of campus to find a hairdresser so they cut their hair by themselves or with the help of other students. Many times the result is not desirable. If a Barber shop is open in campus everyone in the whole campus can go to it. Not just students but also staff, faculty and even outsiders. It will be much cheaper because we would not need to pay for the place for the establishment. If our business expands we are planning to sell shampoo, body wash, deodorant and other body care products, also we could create a chain of in-campus barber shops.

Taliban is a group in Taliban most of them are Afghanistan. At first nobody care about the Taliban until Taliban make country change and advance country. People start to support Taliban. Because lots people support them cause they have 30000 people and have ten tanks. In 1996~2001 Taliban country Afghanistan. The terror organization attack Afghanistan and Pakistan citizen and police without any reason.
Mr. Cohon told me during the cold war U.S.A gave weapon to terror organization actually at that time that was not terror organization but after few years they became terror organization and they still using weapons to attack U.S.A, Afghanistan and Pakistan. I think that was U.S.A’s mistake at that time gave them too much weapons and didn’t think about the future. The terror organization attacking people so the government need to work on It or they will attacking people forever. But I understand looking up the future is really hard so I can’t say bad things to U.S.A. After 911 attacks, a reporter from America wanted to do the research about Taliban. When he arrived in Afghan, he felt very weird situation. Everything is strange. Many local people were in trouble with disease. Some people didn’t have clean water to drink. The reporter can image how people can live there.
At the beginning of the Taliban, there just were 800 people. Therefore, many western countries didn’t worry about it. They thought it was just a little and tiny organization. But because Taliban against government, want to get freedom and soldiers in Taliban were very loyal. Some many people in Afghan support them. Because many people want to make the change to Afghan, they want to improve their life.
In 1979, the Soviet Union attacked Afghan, American government wanted to make trouble with Soviet and get more powerful than Soviet government. Therefore, American government provided weapon to Taliban and Afghan people.
But after 911 attacks, American army wanted to find Bin Laden and attack terrorism organist. So they attacked Afghan, therefore nowadays, Taliban soldiers use the weapon that American government provided to against American army. That sounds interesting.
In Taliban, they are very organizational and disciplined. When they want to attack something or destroy something, they must have a meeting and make a plan to talk about how to do it. Generals in Taliban army are very carefully and strict. They didn’t allow anybody make mistakes.
If there is someone make mistakes in duties or they failed in the end. They will have an important meeting after that. The object of the meeting is make sure why they failed and who is the troublemaker. And then the troublemaker must stay in the guardhouse. During the meeting, they also talked about what they learn from the meeting and they think about next assignment.
On the other hand, before they carry out their assignment. They must let them look nice. They need to get hair cut, wear clean clothes. Because all of the members in Taliban believed Islam, they think after they die, they will go to see the god. So they must let them look nice. It is very important for them.
I think we need to think two sides to deliberate Taliban.
First of all they are terrorists, they shouldn’t destroy other countries. Everyone need peaceful world. They don’t have rights to make others in trouble.
On the other hand, they very love their countries, they very love Islam. They wanted to protect themselves. They have no ways to do something that is terrorism. They also need to live. Because of war, they are also in trouble. They just have two kinds of dead--starvation and die for protest. They also live peace, they are not just monster. But they have no choice. Therefore we also need to help them, if we developed their life, I think there isn’t terrorism in the world anymore.

Behind the Line( A close look at Afghanistan)
In the movie we watched last class in Entre we learned about the lives of the Afghanistan’s behind the battle ground. The movie we watched was about a reporter who was aloud in to the enemy camp as a guest. We saw how even though the news makes them look organized but from what we saw that is not very true. They had a failed plan where they wanted to destroy an American Humvee and a police truck. They kept failing because the detonator would not work. One of them shot at the police with a RPG but that also missed. When the reporter talked to the leader he said that they got the police. The reporter was kicked out of the camp and the police said the last attack was a moth ago. A few days later most of the police at that station were dead.

The Taliban
The Taliban are a group of people who share beliefs about Americans who look to change their government. The Taliban works with many other groups who share their beliefs such as the Al Qaeda. They carry out missions to keep American troops out of their territory. They feel that their government should remain the same. The missions consist of bombings and raids against police officials. One of the missions we witnessed in the video is the Taliban trying to explode a truck carrying a tank and a Jeep with police officials. The bombs failed because of remote control problems and the trucks got away safely. This shows the lack of organization of the Taliban who went home to their leader and told him that 5 people were killed and the trucks were destroyed. They probably lied to their leader because their rules are very strict and could be executed for not carrying out the mission successfully. This shows why the Americans are trying to change them because if the Taliban gets control, they will be very violent.

The Taleban
The Taleban or Taliban military group is an organization the appeared in 1996 and ruled many parts of Afghanistan and other neighbour countries until 2001. After that year the Taleban was overthrown by Operation Enduring Freedom. After it was overthrown the group regrouped in Pakistan to fight the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (established in late 2001) and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force. The Taleban believe that they should be able to solve their problems. They say that they do not want the United Nations or the United States to keep order in their country. The Taliban say that the citizens of the country are able to solve their problems; they want to rule themselves with no help. They even accuse other countries to not just try to help them but to take things from their country and for try to rule it. The Taleban tries to draw attention by attacking different military bases, military vehicles, soldiers etc of the United States and the Government of the country. Even though the Taleban is chased by the authorities it is supported by many people. Even millionaires who believe in the ideas of the Taleban give money to them and they even join the group. Also the Taliban is also allied with other groups who pursue similar goals as them like Al-Qaeda. The Taleban promised that if their country is left alone by outsiders they will stop their fighting and withdraw their weapons.
I personally think that the goals that the Taleban seeks are understandable but the ways the use to try to change the situation are very wrong. They can not kill soldiers or civilians to change the situation of the country. It is also really hard for me to believe that if the United States and the United Nations leave, the Group would withdraw weapons or not attempt to start ruling over the country like oppressors and tyrants.

Terrorist Attacks
Osama Bin Laden has devastated this country and almost devastated my life. On September 11 2001 my dad was across the street from the World Trade Center ready to go in when the first plane hit one of the towers. He ran and got away thinking it might have just been a small planes accident. From about two or three blocks away he saw the second plane hit and saw the huge fireball coming out. Then he knew that something was going on but he wasn’t quite sure what. That day my mom took me out of school and she did not know if my dad was alive. I did not know what was going on because I was too small. He later called my mom and everything was alright. My dad had lost one of his best friends because of the attack. He and the rest of America then were informed that it was a terrorist attack. Also America was informed that a plane crashed into the pentagon and in a field in Pennsylvania probably because of the same reason. On that day about three thousand American citizens died because of the attacks. This is probably in the top five worst things that has happened to the United States and probably always will be.
Every single day in America has been different since then. The security around America and airports around the world has increased a lot. It has also started something else in Afghanistan, a war.
This has changed my life because I want to join the Army Rangers and fight in Afghanistan. Also many of my family members have changed the personalities since then maybe because of lost family members/friends or they were just shocked that this happened.

one of the things that effected my life the most would have to be 9/11. on September 11th 2001 terrorists flew planes into the twin towers and the pentagon. this attack killed more than 3,000 people and injured many. i remember sitting in school in first grade when we all learned what had happened.
when we were that age we didn't really know how to react to something that intense. this event impacted a lot of people that i know. this was a shock to all of us and led to the war in iraq that has been happening for the past ten years. most people know someone in the war or effected by the war in some way. this was a rough period of time for us all and this recent event of the death of osama bin ladin is a relief to us all.

Hurricane Katrina
The disaster that applies to me from the last five years is the hurricane Katrina incident. When the hurricane hit New Orleans on August 29, 2005 it broke the levees and caused a mass flood. This caused money and other necessary items to go to them instead of the rest of the country. This was one of deadliest hurricane in the US'S history killing 1,836 people.
This disaster does apply to me because I live in the country were this happened. The US did not take care of this the right way, instead they just let the people suffer as their world was turned upside down. After the flood cleared it looked like a battle had gone on there. FEMA which was supposed to go down and help went there and help did not go down until most of what could go wrong did go wrong.
My grandparents have a house in Florida they were not there at that time. The hurricane did do a small amount of damage to them it ripped of some parts of the screened in porch. This nothing like what happened in New Orleans because Florida was hit with a much less significant storm.
Many things had to be cut when trying to aid the victims. The tax payers had to pay a little bit more to help cover the $90 billion dollars in damage to the country.

There was a lot of big happened in China at 2008. AL-Qaeda’s of Uighurs make a big political ethnic violence.
In China, the government is rot. The leaders that work for government, most of them is work for money but not for the citizens. They don’t want to think about the political problem in China. The things they worry about are money, selfish, reputation. When they face to the political problem, most of them have no idea.
The Uighurs violence make a lots of people in China got hurt. The Uighurs did that is because they’re life is not fair in China. They have racial problem. But the government have no good idea for found out these kind of problem. At last, Uighurs just can fix these problems and let the government weak up “we are a part of China.”

Al-Qaeda is standing against the world
first, over all,this assignment makes me crazy. As i am a student, especially an international students, i do not want to determine the event going on is right or wrong.

right now, they change the direction to appoint Sinkiang which is a Part of Chinese land property. Uighurs are one of the nationalty of 56 religon in China which is without argument and cannot be divided.
Chinese government to use military power was because the terroristic people which were organized, they destroied the houses, shops and public spaces in SInkiang area. they burned buses, throwed stones and metals to common people. on the purpose to keep the civilian out of danger.

Nowadays, people are facing many problems. For example, environment problems, too much population, the gap between the poor and the rich and another serious problem—terrorism, all of them are around us.
A few days ago, bin laden was killed by American army. I think it is good news for all the people. Because the most powerful leader of terrorism died, people made a successful step that against terrorism.
How terrorism influenced China?
In Anti terrorism, American people pay more attention on Afghan war. And China government paid more attention about how to control their power to against terrorism.
China government did a lot of things to against terrorism. Chinese army has a great development these years. And the Chinese own Carrier will be used in 2011. And the special policeman solved many terrorist attacks happened in Xinjiang in 2008. It is a good for protecting China and against terrorism.
Some people said, there are some terrorist attacks happened in China, because China government didn’t provide welfare to Xinjiang local people. However, it is not truth. Some people said these because they can have a reason to attacked China and gain the power.
The truth is Xinjiang local people enjoy good life. Our government spent much money every on Xinjiang. China government provided food, money, house and car to people. People can get jobs when they graduated from college. And Xinjiang students just have the lows grades, they can go to the good university, sometime just 400. But in my hometown, Shandong, I must get 610 then I can good to the same college. Therefore, Xinjiang students have more changes than Han people.
But, why there are still terroristic attacks happened in Xinjiang? I think because some people want to gain more power. Just like Rome history, a bad emperor can use any ways to get his objects. For instance, the emperor can kill his die then he can gain the power early. He can kill people who didn’t support him. So, some similar events happened now, too. Terrorism leaders want to get his objects and gain more and more power. They didn’t care people’s life. They didn’t care people’s life. They just think about themselves.
In a word, I think it is good to against terrorism. People need the peaceful life. We can’t allow someone to make trouble in our life. If someone did that, we must against him. It is not one country’s duty, it is all of people’s duty!

In 2008, there were a lots of big happened in China. Good or not, it’s all gone.
2011, the Japan Earthquake was in us time 2011 March the 11st. Earthquake the

In last 5 years there was no big event. Only one that is I came to America this is effect me. Because If I still stay in Taiwan and study high school there it not good for me because Taiwan high school are making you study all day you need to wake up early and back home 9 or 10 o’clock also you need prepare for the big exam for college if you fail in this exam you don’t have second chance to take this exam again. It give big pressure to all the students. I came to America because my parents don’t want me get big pressure from college. in America I not going to get that big pressure also I can learn something I can’t learn in Taiwan for example I can learn do anything by myself because my parents are not here everything I need do myself tan I can learn how to solve any problem. In Taiwan high school students just know study from textbook they don’t have chance to learn other things. in America I just have class in the afternoon then it my sport time I can exercise it let me become stronger. One of the world disasters that occurred in the last 5 years that affected me
was the BP oil spill on April 20, 2010. It was an offshore drilling accident in the Gulf
of Mexico that resulted in one of the biggest leakage of oil in decades. It has been
the reason for the declining health of the Gulf. A year ago beaches were swelling
with oil surrounding beaches in Florida, Louisiana, created a dead zone in the mouth
of the Mississippi River. Not only has nature suffered, but financials as well. BP
(British Petroleum) suffered many accusations for faulting the oil spill, gas prices
have gone up forcing prices at the pump to rise. So how this event affects me? The
BP oil spill affects me in different ways, for a while I couldn’t go to the west coast of
Florida and go on a beach for fear of being drenched in oil. Also fish that are fished
in the Gulf had to be inspected extra carefully to make sure they weren’t toxic, but
for me that’s something in the back of my head that I’m eating a fish that was
swimming in oil not water, not comfortable eating that. Even though the next point
isn’t a negative affect on me but was a sight not everyone would see was, while
flying back from Las Vegas we passed over the Gulf of Mexico at night in the middle
of the recovery. They were burning the oil on top of the water so there were flames
boasting out you could see on the black water spread out over hundreds of miles. If
it wasn’t so bad for the environment and animal habitats, it wouldn’t be bad to
watch because it was so neat to observe.

In 5.1.2010, Shanghai world expo opened in Shanghai, China. Chinese government spent 45bilion RMB to build the huge expo. More than 70000 thousand people visited Shanghai expo.
World Expositions are galleries of human inspirations and thoughts. Since 1851 when the Great Exhibition of Industries of All Nations was held in London, the World Expositions have attained increasing prominence as grand events for economic, scientific, technological and cultural exchanges, serving as an important platform for displaying historical experience, exchanging innovative ideas, demonstrating esprit de corps and looking to the future.
In Shanghai Expo, we can see many different countries’ culture. We can see all over the world in China. We can know the new technology in Shanghai Expo.
The Shanghai Expo theme is better city, better life. The whole Expo talked about what the future of our city and what is the right way to develop our city.
As a student, I can learn many things in Shanghai Expo
First of all, I can learn many countries culture. For example, in Egypt hall, I can see many culture relics that many years ago. Some were in 3000 BC. Everything is cool. In English hall, we can see the all of the seed in the world. In French hall, we can see mach delicious food and we can smile perfume everywhere. People can feel the romantic about the country. In American hall, we can see the hall like a eagle. It means American people welcome all over the people go to America. And the best movie in American hall gave people the best memory.
On the other hand, Shanghai Expo showed us what the tuneful city is. We can know, people are the most important part of the earth. We can live without nature and good environment. If we didn’t protect our environment, we must face many problems. Therefore, in Shanghai Expo, we can see many countries’ hall use much new energy. For example, the solar energy, wind energy. All the behaviors told us people became more and more serious about environment. More and more people think it is necessary to protect the environment.
And we can know the relationship between each country became more and more closed. Developing countries can’t live without the developed countries. Developed countries also can’t live without the developing country. For example, china need the new technology to developed Chinese company, so America gave china the technology. On the hand, American companies can live without Chinese factories. Because it is very expensive to make something in America, China helped America by this way.
Therefore, Shanghai Expo show nowadays, what our world look like. What a good way is to develop our cities forever. What we should do. What the right ways are. I also can see people need to do many things to protect our earth.

The 2010 World Cup did not look good for my country. We never won a World Cup before; we had never even passed the quarter finals. The big selections like Brazil or Argentina were the big favourites. My country even had many important injuries right before the star of the championship. Also my national team lost the first game. Spain did not give up and end up with the cup in the hands of the nation. Incredibly the whole nation, which was divided by different politic beliefs, was unified by the belief that the national team could win and bring glory and a new fellowship between the population of Spain.
Spain was going through different problems: economic problems and the country was divided. The economic problem has not been solved yet and it will not be solved for some years. Winning the World Cup made Spain more known around the world and gave them a boost to the nation’s economy. People now know Spain for something else. Much more tourist came to Spain during the same and they will still came for some more years. The country has been divided for a very long time. It has been divided by politic beliefs. Some people who want their region to be separated from Spain are trying to expose their ideas to the other population in the same region who really do not want to change. This has been a huge affair since 1900s and all during the dictatorship that Franco imposed. Even a terrorist group was created. It was awesome to see how the main sport in my country united everyone even if it was just for a few weeks. Everyone was celebrating the triumph and people who had completely beliefs were embracing each other.

It was so important for me to see my country unified for once, which means that it can be unified again and for a longer time. All the problems and differences were forgotten. Beijing the capital of China hosted the 2008 Olympic Games on August 8, 2008. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games began on August 8, 2008, and runed for 16 days. Throughout this period, athletes from 203 National Olympic Committees competed in 28 sports.
Beijing upgraded and enlarged its international airport, and built a new subway system and 8 new expressways to ease traffic.

Plane Crash
This article is about a Yankee Baseball pitcher who crashed his four seated plane into a high rise in Manhattan. He was flying through the New York area when he made a distress call complaining about gasoline levels. The plane was picked up on radar circling the Empire State Building then it was lost. It soon hit into the side of the Belaire condominium building. It crashed into the 39th and 40th floor. Many people on the street thought of 9/11 with worried confusion. People ran as rubble was falling from the building. The people in the rooms hit by the plane were evacuated safely with only a couple of burns.
This is relative to my life because just at that point in my life, I was taking interested in flying planes and I had started off in small ones just like that of the Yankee. This frightened me a little bit and I laid off flying for a little bit even though I was flying over rural land, I had a fear of crashing. This was a huge turning point also in my life because it also inspired me to get better at flying so I wouldn’t have to experience a situation as that. It also gave me caution to always fly with an instructor and keep my eyes out for anything dangerous. Even though I am much more cautious, I think this occurrence created me into a better flyer.

This was a huge turning point also in my life because it also inspired me to get better at flying so I wouldn’t have to experience a situation as that. It also gave me caution to always fly with an instructor and keep my eyes out for anything dangerous. Even though I am much more cautious, I think this occurrence created me into a better flyer.

DECLINED OF ECONOMY IN VIETNAM
-This I believed happened around 2007 or 2008, this is when the stock market in VietNam was in declined, the stock prices was falling down nonstop, it was so bad that if you go to the internet at that time and check the stocks market prices all you could see in red light showing the declined of the stocks. This effect me because during this time my parents lost a lot of money because of their stocks, that also mean I had less and less money that I could spend at that time.

The number 1 searched terrorist in the world was killed yesterday in a house when he refused to get arrested by the USA soldiers. Osama is the leader of a terrorist group that have killed hundreds even thousand of people in the world. He is responsible for the 09/11 in New York and many others around the world even one in Madrid 03/11. I am very glad that this enemy of the whole human population. Osama Bin Laden’s death has affected me by giving me a sense of relief. Although the war on terror isn’t completely over, it has taken a step forward to victory. Al-Qaeda has had its leader killed and is now dead. He was killed in Pakistan, and the leader of the 9/11 plot was found and killed. He said he needed against America and other developed countries to protect his country and his supporters. I think he just used this way to get more power and control the world.
But on the other hand, why 911 attacked happened. Let us think about it.
Since 1979, the Soviet Union army have been attacked Afghan. Because of that, many Afghan became hating Russia and other developed country. When the Soviet Union became Russia, Bin laden want to plan to attacked the US.
So if there is no war, there is no Bin Laden.

-Yesterday we watched a movie about North Korea and al so about North Korea leader Kim Jong Il, who has the absolute power in North Korea after his father death Kim Il Sung. Although Kim Jong Il is a autocratic leader who decide all the thing by himself, all the people of North Korea have to follow every single orders he gave, he hardly take any advises from other people. People in North Korea being taught when they was only a child to love their autocratic leader, they also have many songs to sing about how great is Kim Jong Il. If anybody ever ask North Korea people about Kim Jong Il they just says how great he is, he has no mistakes at all.We also learned from the movie that North Korea is separate from the rest of the world, they only contract with South Korea to offer money from them. Between North and South Korea is the border to separate them from each other, in here they have electric fence, mines and guards to keep people from North Korea escaped their country to go to South Korea, there also another border between china and North Korea but since they are allies and there were so much people escaped North Korea to go to China so every time China caught the North Korea people escaped from heir country, China would put them into a prison to feed them and wait for the amount of number of people then they send them back to their country. North Korea usually killed the people who being given back to them because they abandoned their own country.

How do you think about North Korea?
Now North Korea is communism, so Kim Jung Il control everything. North Korean’s citizens are starving but Kim Jung Il and a person who working in government they are very rich so they buying a lot of brand-name products even their citizen are dying because of no food. This is ridiculous because North Korean’s citizens are thinking Kim Jung Il is the god so they are bow to Kim Jung Il. Other country like South Korea we donating a lot of money for their citizen but the government take the money and then use that money for developing the nuclear bomb and kind of weapons. The government choose weapon instead of citizen even war will not occur right now. A lot of people who living in North Korea they hate the life in North Korea so they trying to get out of North Korea through DMZ or go to China and the go to South Korea in secret, but during they getting out from North Korea a lot of people dying because North Korea government doesn’t want their citizen get out of North Korea in secret so their army just shoot them so a lot of people dying. 25 days. After 25 days, I can go back to China and hand out with my friends. First of all, I want to go traveling with them to go to some very beautiful place in China. But first of all, they need money from their parents. And one of my friends parents is in a financial difficulty. He investment for a big shopping Mall I China, it is a good place. But because of it is too expensive, not a lot of people want to sale there. A lot of rich people live that place and people investment this program. Then the other business men or companies buy lots of the stores, and they sale that more and more expensive. So people can’t not buy that expensively stores. The Mall doesn’t work well, and then his daddy can’t make money although lost money.
Also that like the same things we saw in the Entry class. Chinese is being polarization. Rich people have money and relation with the government and the society. Then if a new building for apartment is being done with build, then rich people pay for the developer about the builder. Then those rich people can buy many houses before it sale to the citizens that very need it. So rich people sale it more expensive and the normal citizens can’t buy it really. Then they should work hard, and harder, then the rich people and the developer make money and the citizens lose money.
Also talk about the shopping mall. The developer doesn’t care about how the stores work. Just sale it to some rich people to driven it. The developer won’t care how it works, just sale it. Then the rich people can’t sale it well to the citizens because it is too expensive, so it will be horrible place that without people shop there.
Government to stand up and stop this kind of happened. It will make the polarization be more and more horrible. Citizens can’t live in a good place. That is the worst happen ever. But the other thing is, these developers will pay for the government that let them doing this sales without thinking about the consequence. The society is dark in China. Money can almost do every thing. “Corrupt”， that is the problem. Someone should stand up and say out loud about this happen and change. In some developing areas, the local government allowed motion that build more supermarkets and built more apartments. Government wanted to use this way to get the high GDP, provide more jobs and improve the people life.
However, they began to make trouble.
There are two sides in everything. It is same on real estate. At the beginning of the real estate, everything is normal. Government just wanted to develop our country more and more beautiful. Real estate also can provide more jobs, therefore is can improve people life. In fact, many years ago, most Chinese didn’t have apartment to live. They didn’t enjoy a comfortable life. My dream car
I chose a Black Honda Civic. It costs 18,000 dollars and has its mpg is 39 in the highway and 29 in the city. If it is average the mpg would be at least 35mpg or even more than 35. I always liked this car. My aunt had a red one, which was an older model. Every time I had chance to see it or ride in it I asked her. I was always hoping that she would give it to me when I got my license so it was my first but now that I have 20,000 dollars I decided to buy this great car as my first car instead.

I am choosing the Volkswagen Golf TDI two door because it has 42 mpg. It is $18,765 this under the $20,000 budget. It is good to have great mpg for your first car because gas prices are so high and insurance costs a lot. We will need to be able to drive longer and farther by spending less money. This car is completely stock. This car is a diesel so it gets very good mpg. When you have good mpg you will use less fossil fuels. This car looks very nice it has 170 horse power, its 2.5L engine, 5-cylinders, with a five speed automatic transmission. It has a very nice look to it as a two door as a four door it does not look as sporty. This car looks best in black because of the contours of the body shape. Silver also looks good black does show dirt well but I like the way black looks.

goodness. At the time we glorify goodness and punish evil, do we think about
what caused it happened? People make up societies, societies make up countries
and countries make up a whole world so life is complex. We cannot resist the
evil’s happening because everything takes both sides, to be satisfied, to be
complained.
From this movie, scientists tried to find what influence a person to get on
the way to evils.
The environment effects on you to make decisions. The situation which
side you stand by determined what kind of men you will grow such as the people
live in poor regions all the thoughts they think about is for alive, for food, for
safety. This can make a people to do crimes, at least for their lives. They have
rights to keep alive, can we say that is the way of evil? When you cannot get rid
of a bad living, changes are not fit to the society but personal.
Religion controls persons mind. Almost everyone has a religion. The
power of religions and beliefs are really controlling a person’s actions. They
think to sacrifice their lives for which ideas or missions are a glory and they
believe they will have a nice after life, much be told is bodies can be died but
souls never.
We saw those volunteer military are organized with a personal leader.
These situations always happen on a place which is no government leading ship,
no disciplines and no complete laws. That kind of military as a service, belongs
to a personal property. It is harmful to their society.

Everyone deserves a chance to follow their dreams, but some people only get one shot. I love dancing, it is a sort of ways I can relax myself. I have been dancing for five more years old. Although I am not a professional dancer but I enjoy myself, appreciate every minute of dance which I step out. I am looking forward every weekend because I always join the dance party with other schools. Chasing girls is not my purpose, attracting focus from ladies is the strength of the male.
Remember the dance party one month ago, I showed myself in the middle of the crowd. They clap their hands with musical beats and shouted to me. I feel that time I was the superstar. The final lap of the race at Talladega applies to my life because i am a NASCAR fan. This was one of the most exciting races i have ever seen. The big wreak happened late in the race which was a shock. I have never seen a race where three cars cross the line at the same time. This article relates to me in more than one way, otherwise making it a very special game for me to remember. As two familiar teams from countries I often visit and/or reside in played against each other for the first time in history internationally, I could not help but feel a bit emotional. The fact that Ghana and England drew in the football match made it an even more controversial match- for both teams- as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
This article has a very strong connection with me not only because of my passion for soccer but also because of the memories and stories attached to the game - remembering that I had to leave a day before the game at the Wembley Stadium between both teams and how sad I felt realizing it after.

Nadal reaches 7th straight Montecarlo Final.
Rafael Nadal, the top 1 player in Tennis, has just won for the seventh time the first tennis clay surface tournament this year. Nadal was born in Manacor, Spain. His family was really dedicated in sports, nowadays his coach is his uncle. I have admire him since I met and hearing that he won this tournament was great and gave myself a boost to keep going and improve.
He was a great athlete always encouraged by his family. Actually he was very good at soccer too. In one moment of his life he had to choose between soccer and tennis. Now he uses every opportunity he has to follow the Spanish team and especially he watches almost everyone of Real Madrid, the team he has followed from his childhood. He is a very humble person and he has acquired the first position in the tennis world ranking by working very hard and by never giving up. I have always felt really connected to this player. He is a great hard worker. He probably is not the best technical player in the circuit, but still, his great perseverance and all the time he has dedicated to improve his body strength has brought him to the first place in the circuit. He is perseverance is incredible. Also I share his love for sports. Tennis and Soccer are my two favourite sports. Nadal also supports Real Madrid. He is too a very sympathetic person. One when a ball boy had a bloody nose he stopped in the middle of the game to help him.
In South Kent I had not many chances to follow Nadal’s trajectory this year. Writing this paper and finding this paper has been a great experience for him that gave me a boost to finish this year with a last term of much hard work and perseverance. Nadals is probably one of the people who help me lead my life. Rafael Nadal is my hero.

Minnesota-Duluth bulldogs one their first ever national championship in Division I college hockey against Michigan. Which just so happens to be my favorite college hockey team. How this plays a role in my life is I follow hockey closely, especially college hockey. I love watching college boys play because its more hearfelt and passionate at theur level, they are working harder to try and move on to the next level. Which I can relate to in many ways because coming to south kent was a stepping stone, now theres other stepping stones to move onto the next level which I watched only a week or two ago.

Rowing
Crew is a full body workout that can be strenuous on the body so massage therapy can be very effective. Most athletes think that adding as many training hours as possible is the best way to get fitter and therefore a better outcome. This isn't the best way though. By working out vigorously then giving your body time to recover and receive massage therapy for a day in between workouts. This is much more effective then beating your body up. It also results in a more effective season. This has to do with my life because we work hard from Monday thru Saturday and by Sunday my muscles are tight and stiff annd my dad gives me massages to relieve the tension in preparation for the next week.

Can Evil Be Predicted?

Can evil be predicted? In this paper, it will expose 4 different
studies/experiments showing how evil can be predicted and or explained. First
starting with a voluntary experiment, religion, a study of the brain, and following
orders. Can evil be predicted, in these experiments, yes.
To begin with, a voluntary experiment with Stanford University students and
a professor. Several students volunteered to be prisoners and several volunteered to
be prison guards. The guards were told to run the prison any style they pleased.
Within a couple days in, they turned on to harsh treatment of the prisoners. They
acted out instances of torcher and humiliation. For example, stripping prisoners
naked, forcing them to do numerous amounts of pushups, spraying them with
freezing cold fire extinguishers. No reasoning behind these acts other than it was
their prison, and they turned on A-hole mode on just because they could. Maybe it
was the freedom that was given to the guards that could’ve predicted it.
Secondly, religion in this film was regarded to terminate the evil from a
person’s body. As in the film the murderer that was convicted, asked if to be
baptized. It was a controversial act, an outrage to some.
A study of the brain was conducted to determine what causes evil acts, or
what prevents them. The students and professors conducting this, observed brain
activity by putting people in a cat scan machine while presenting them with texts of
scenarios, and there decisions would be monitored. In some of the cases they put,
would you smother a baby if you were African women with a newborn child. You
and your townspeople are hiding in a safe location with enemy soldiers nearby.
Your baby cries out and you either smother your baby to death to save you and the
others or you let your baby cry out and everyone would be found an most likely
killed including the baby. Can evil be predicted in this situation? Maybe in this case
some would consider both acts evil. So evil could be predicted just by looking at this
situation whatever decision you make, it’s going to be wrong in some ones eyes.
Following orders is the last exploitation in this essay. In parts of Africa it’s a
lawless land with civil war and rebellion. Young men’s family’s are killed and raped
in front of their eyes, only to be forced to become a soldier in the rebels. To predict
this evil take a look at the leader to see what orders are being given. If a man is
going to follow orders blindly to kill a whole village of innocent people, evil can be
predicted. What makes this happen to the man pulling the trigger? Possibly fear for
his own life for if he doesn’t follow his general’s orders then his life is in danger.
Overall, the experience shared through the classroom could be described as
slightly disturbed. How can something like that occur? The most infectious thing in
the world isn’t bacteria nor a parasite, but an idea.

Evil
I think in all honesty that it is possible where the factors of:Situation, Religion and Brain Activity can cause people to be evil.
Situation is where people are faced with conditions where they are inclined to make choices - these choices maybe be “evil,” depending on the choices they make and in some cases either choices taken maybe categorized as evil. An example from the movie we watched was where a woman was faced with a dilemma where she had to either kill her baby to prevent her family from being killed or to make her baby live and allow her family to be found. With this choice though other people may say that it was evil to kill other members of the family other individuals will also say it is not right to kill an innocent person.
Religion is also another major part in evil and the differentiation of “evil” and good. In some religions it is believed that in order to express their religion it calls for violence and they also believe that doing this will take them to heaven. Others also believe that if you do “evil” you can easy be forgiving by being baptized like the serial killer also in the movie that we watched.
Brain Activity is where the brain basically has a conscience of good and evil. This is where the brain either tells us to do the right thing or the evil thing which is always a factor in our daily lives.
People on the other hand are also inclined to do evil where they are giving “evil” orders and are supposed to come through with it. Two examples were the Congo and Stanford students situation, were people from a higher status where gave instructions to them to follow( Congo soldiers and Stanford student’s in an experiment) which were otherwise both evil.

Evil
Evil, a word that has always been associated with the soul or entity of a person, now in modern days scientist are questioning if it is connected to the brain, if it is just a chemical reaction made by our body. The video with the purpose of explain this idea shows four examples: an experiment that is done, now to regular people to see which parts of the brain operate in different situations a psychological study in a university, the problematic situation that the war in Congo is provoking and the baptism of a person who mutilated and killed 17 persons. The idea of evil coming from the brain suggests that humans are set to be evil but that they can be evil depending in the case and situation.
Every person has different moral structure so their scale of right and wrong is different of the others, also some people would to sacrifice more or less for different things. Depending on the matter and the situation our brain acts differently. The first experiment is trying to analyze all the different answers that people can do and the part of the brain that they used. In the video two volunteers were asked question that were connected to their moral scales and to their conception of what is right and what is wrong. In the one of the examples a man was asked if he will stop and bring a woman, who had just been knifed, to the hospital. The man said yes but the scientist say that even though almost everyone would have stopped and brought that person to a hospital if the situation changed and if that person was in another part of the world and the help that the person had to provide was indirect he would let the person die. If a person could help another in Congo indirectly the person would be more reluctant to help.
The civil war in Congo has taken many lives since it started. Also it has provoked many people leave their homes and everything they own. Many people have moved to refugee camp. The state soldiers had received orders from their commanders to move these people to refugee camps. The soldiers are abusing of their power and killing and violating many civilians. The soldiers who had provably been poor to are now using their power to feel better and as a escape goat for all their sadness. In this case again this situation is making the soldiers evil and making them behave against other whom not a long ago were their equals.
The head of the psychological department of a university designed a experiment to see if humans who had never been evil if there is a situation change the humans can become evil. University volunteer students were used in the experiment as guards and prisoners. The classes were set as a prison. The head of the psychological department created a fake prison to see how the fake guards would when they had power. After 2 days the fake prisoners rebelled. The guards stopped the rebellion and started to degrade and torture the prisoners in order to humiliate them. The power had made the guards evil. The head of the department was the superintendent the fake prison. After some days he realized the he also had become evil and he did not really wanted to stop the experiment. The experiment was stopped when another psychologist made the fake superintendent realize this.
A man that killed 17 people and mutilated them had asked the church for forgiveness- All his sins trouble him and that he is very sorry about all of them. He wants to be forgiven by god to be free of all his errors so he can rest in peace. A reverend of the church is asked to do this sacrament. Many people tried to persuade him of not doing this. He objects that humans have mistakes that in different situations people react differently. But above all of these reasons his opinion is that God forgives all of the persons who are sorry for their sins. Everyone had sin in his life maybe ones more than others but everyone deserves to be forgiven.
Evil is a created in ones mind and depends of many factors: situation, education… With concrete combination of all this factors many people can be evil in a more or less quantity. It is clearly impossible to eradicate evil from the world. Everyone be evil at certain times. Even though evil can not be completely eradicated if people, mostly when they are children, are treated well and with love the people would act the same way giving this love to other and by that making less the chances of situations that provoke evil.
