Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden has been killed by US force in Pakistan, President Barack Obama has said.
Bin Laden was shot dead at a compound near Islamabad in aground operation based on US intelligence, the first lead for which emerged last August.
Mr. Obama said US forces took possession of the body after “a firefight.”
Bin laden is believed to be the mastermind if the attacks on New York and Washington on 11 September 2001 and a number of others. People called it 911 attacks.
Therefore, he was top of the US “most wanted” list.
Mr. Obama said it was “the most significant achievement to date in our nation’s effort to defeat al-Qaeda.
So, as a student, what I feel?
I wanted to talk about this thing from two sides.
First of all, it is good news. Because there is a most dangerous leader disappear on our world.
Bin Laden killed many people.
Form 911 attacked, there were 2996 people died in 911 attacked. And more than 6291 people injured. And what will feel when you lost your family? Must be sad. And because of that, American government lost more than billion dollars.
So , I will say, it is not peaceful. I think Bin Laden use this way to against the whole people. He was a terrorist. He didn’t follow the world rules. He said he needed against America and other developed countries to protect his country and his supporters. I think he just used this way to get more power and control the world.
But on the other hand, why 911 attacked happened. Let us think about it.
Since 1979, the Soviet Union army have been attacked Afghan. Because of that, many Afghan became hating Russia and other developed country. When the Soviet Union became Russia, Bin laden want to plan to attacked the US.
So if there is no war, there is no Bin Laden.
Therefore, peace is very important. War is not a good ways to solve problem, war just can cause more and more problems
