Taliban
After 911 attacks, a reporter from America wanted to do the research about Taliban. When he arrived in Afghan, he felt very weird situation. Everything is strange. Many local people were in trouble with disease. Some people didn’t have clean water to drink. The reporter can image how people can live there.
At the beginning of the Taliban, there just were 800 people. Therefore, many western countries didn’t worry about it. They thought it was just a little and tiny organization. But because Taliban against government, want to get freedom and soldiers in Taliban were very loyal. Some many people in Afghan support them. Because many people want to make the change to Afghan, they want to improve their life.
In 1979, the Soviet Union attacked Afghan, American government wanted to make trouble with Soviet and get more powerful than Soviet government. Therefore, American government provided weapon to Taliban and Afghan people.
But after 911 attacks, American army wanted to find Bin Laden and attack terrorism organist. So they attacked Afghan, therefore nowadays, Taliban soldiers use the weapon that American government provided to against American army. That sounds interesting.
In Taliban, they are very organizational and disciplined. When they want to attack something or destroy something, they must have a meeting and make a plan to talk about how to do it. Generals in Taliban army are very carefully and strict. They didn’t allow anybody make mistakes.
If there is someone make mistakes in duties or they failed in the end. They will have an important meeting after that. The object of the meeting is make sure why they failed and who is the troublemaker. And then the troublemaker must stay in the guardhouse. During the meeting, they also talked about what they learn from the meeting and they think about next assignment.
On the other hand, before they carry out their assignment. They must let them look nice. They need to get hair cut, wear clean clothes. Because all of the members in Taliban believed Islam, they think after they die, they will go to see the god. So they must let them look nice. It is very important for them.
I think we need to think two sides to deliberate Taliban.
First of all they are terrorists, they shouldn’t destroy other countries. Everyone need peaceful world. They don’t have rights to make others in trouble.
On the other hand, they very love their countries, they very love Islam. They wanted to protect themselves. They have no ways to do something that is terrorism. They also need to live. Because of war, they are also in trouble. They just have two kinds of dead--starvation and die for protest. They also live peace, they are not just monster. But they have no choice. Therefore we also need to help them, if we developed their life, I think there isn’t terrorism in the world anymore.
