2008 Beijing Olympic Game

Beijing the capital of China hosted the 2008 Olympic Games on August 8, 2008. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games began on August 8, 2008, and runed for 16 days. Throughout this period, athletes from 203 National Olympic Committees competed in 28 sports.

Beijing upgraded and enlarged its international airport, and built a new subway system and 8 new expressways to ease traffic.

sepcially, Beijing built a amazing stadium, which looks like a nest of birds, called Birds'nest stadium. Bird's Nest Stadium also known as the Beijing National Stadium is a unique Olympic stadium, on which in 2008 held the XXIX Summer Olympic Games. This is related to the effect that the Chinese are prepared opening game.

There were 43 new world records and 132 new Olympic records set at the 2008 Summer Olympics. China won 51 gold, 21 silver and 28 bronze. Unite States won 36 gold, 38 silver and 36 bronze. of course, prize dose not mean who is more powerful but we chase limitation of body of human beings. Our goal is:higher, faster, stronger.

During the period of game, i was in Shanghai watched TV with my family. We were excited to see the openning ceremony which was wonderful and unbelievale shining our eyes. there were a lot of foreigners from all over the world to be volunteers. Every one of 56 legions in China contributed his power and made it look so warm.

As the theme song of Beijing Olympic game said: "you and me, we are family."
