Terrorist Attacks

Osama Bin Laden has devastated this country and almost devastated my life. On September 11 2001 my dad was across the street from the World Trade Center ready to go in when the first plane hit one of the towers. He ran and got away thinking it might have just been a small planes accident. From about two or three blocks away he saw the second plane hit and saw the huge fireball coming out. Then he knew that something was going on but he wasn’t quite sure what. That day my mom took me out of school and she did not know if my dad was alive. I did not know what was going on because I was too small. He later called my mom and everything was alright. My dad had lost one of his best friends because of the attack. He and the rest of America then were informed that it was a terrorist attack. Also America was informed that a plane crashed into the pentagon and in a field in Pennsylvania probably because of the same reason. On that day about three thousand American citizens died because of the attacks. This is probably in the top five worst things that has happened to the United States and probably always will be.
Every single day in America has been different since then. The security around America and airports around the world has increased a lot. It has also started something else in Afghanistan, a war.
This has changed my life because I want to join the Army Rangers and fight in Afghanistan. Also many of my family members have changed the personalities since then maybe because of lost family members/friends or they were just shocked that this happened.
