We as a class had to make our own tool to protect the egg so it does not break- however this time it was an individual task.
Surprisingly the egg broke because the egg was not secure enough as it was, padded with cotton balls. The structure was also evidently bad, after it fell apart in-flight as my "parachute structure" was destroyed.
Next time i will think a little outside the box,or a little simpler as some of my classmates did - for example Pat Curry with the socks and hat approach. I hope to improve with the mistakes i have made next time we drop an egg again.
